You can follow the steps below to set up your email account as IMAP on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device.

  1. Click Settings from your application list .
  2. On the Settings page, click on the Accounts & Passwords menu.
  3. Access the email account adding page by following Add Account > Other > Add Email Account .
  4. On the New Account page, fill in the fields below.
    • Name: Enter the name you would like to appear in your emails.
    • E-Mail: Enter your e-mail address.
    • Password: Enter your e-mail password.
    • Description: Give a name to your e-mail account.
  5. After filling in the relevant fields, click the Next button.
  6. In the window that appears, mark the account type as IMAP .
    • Name: Enter the name you would like to appear in your e-mails.
    • E-Mail: Enter your e-mail account.
    • Description: Give your email account the name you want it to appear as.
    • Make the following definitions in the Incoming Mail Server section.
      • Server Name: proxy.uzmanposta.com
      • Username: Enter your e-mail address.
      • Password: Enter your e-mail password.
    • Make the following definitions in the Outgoing Mail Server section.
      • Server Name: proxy.uzmanposta.com
      • Username: Enter your e-mail address.
      • Password: Enter your e-mail password.
  7. You can finish the account setup by clicking the Next button and then the Save button.

To set up your account as SSL ;

  1. If you want to perform the installation with an SSL certificate;
    • Select the account for which you want to configure SSL settings on the Accounts page .
    • Select your account listed in the IMAP section.
    • On the account page, click on the SMTP option in the Outgoing Mail Server section .
    • Click on the Primary Server section on the SMTP page .
      • Activate the Use SSL button.
      • Update the Server Port section to 465 .
      • Click the Done button to save the definitions you have made .
  2. Then switch to the Account window.
  3. On the account page, click on the Advanced option.
    • Activate the Use SSL button in the Incoming Mail Settings section .
    • Update the Server Port section to 993 .
  4. You can complete the process by following Account > Done .
